Spring/Summer Couture 2011

Elie Saab: A lovely blush tone began the show, followed by deep lavender, muted floral, ruby red, mossy green, ethereal silver white and black. By far my favorite collection of the Couture season, I so hope that the ladies at the Oscars choose from this fine assortment.

Valentino: Prim and soft are the key words to describe this light and airy collection. Blush tones and pastels, effervescent sequins with flowing pleats, folds and delicate lace. Two deep red dresses counter balanced the lightness in the palette.

Spring/Summer Couture 2011

The house of Maison Martin Margiela will never cease to amaze me. Inspiration from flowers.

Chanel: The multitude of denim skinny pants is creating a buzz from this collection.

Armani Privé: The big question here is what will Anne Hathaway wear from this collection at the Oscars.

Christophe Josse: Light and ethereal, a beautiful collection but a bit safe.

Spring/Summer Couture 2011

What a treat and a half on this ridiculous frigid day! I wasn't expecting to post any Spring/Summer Couture 2011 photos until tomorrow but hear are a few from Christian Dior and the genius that is John Galliano... hello vixen. The sleek hair, the layers and gathers that cinch the waste, loving it, and the opera gloves bring the entire look into perfect femininity. Enjoy!
