The Met Costume Institute Gala

From "oh so gorgeous" to "seriously? why do that to yourself?": a photo review of the Met's Costume Institute Gala, which was held last night.

If there is one gala I could get a ticket to, it would be this one. The gowns are flowing, the hair is up-done and the beautiful people make the backdrop look bland.

The best part about this gala is that you can wear ANYTHING, and you will see some pretty amazing anythings, because it is a night to celebrate the Costume Institute at the Met, which sets the world standard for costume exhibition and houses the Lewisohn Costume Reference Library, one of international acclaim, if I could sleep in its stacks, I would!
