Gift receipts, returns and exchanges
The holiday season of gift giving is upon us, and so is the inevitable return/exchange. We all try our very best to purchase gifts that will be loved and used, but sometimes it just doesn't work out. So, as a lovely courtesy many stores offer gift receipts for purchases, this is a receipt that does not have the price of the item listed. This way, if a return/exchange needs to happen, the store has the information at the ready. Even if the item you are returning goes on sale between now and the time you return it, you will still have the full value of that item to return or exchange, as long as you have the gift receipt.
So, double check those return/exchange policies and always include a gift receipt, when you can!
