Wedding guest attire

That time of year is upon us, wedding season. Please remember, white is for the bride. Unless it is stated on the invitation that white is ok, please refrain. Enjoy!

With this sleek fuchsia number you will stand out in the crowd. Lean lines for accessories and a punch of  pine green make this one very chic and sophisticated ensemble.

The Ritz

Make prints happen for an outdoor wedding. This cheetah print has just enough fun added to it with the bottom frill and the hi/lo front/back hem. The wedges will be comfortable on possible uneven ground, not to mention dancing all night under the stars. Add pops of orange and this is one wildly chic ensemble.

Ensembles for a beach wedding need to be comfortable and easy. Shoes that easily slip on for the dancing and off for the beach side ceremony are key. This print is full of color with a higher neck so earrings will do the trick, to make it a bit more dressy add a statement necklace but switch out the earrings, too much going on up top will distract from the dress. We all need a fabulous clutch, the Kate Spade below is a sound investment for a perfect staple.

Vegas, Baby!

I am off to Vegas on Friday for what is bound to be an epic and hands-down wonderful wedding. Pool party on Friday, lounge by the pool Saturday before the evening wedding, then Easter mass and brunch on Sunday. I am keeping it casual for the Friday and Sunday events, maxi dresses and espadrilles. The main event on Saturday night is cocktail attire, so I am playing up the sparkle of the strip with bangles and cocktail rings. With the deep-v of my dress, a totally bare neck is key and since I am not prone to earrings, just little studs will do. What would you wear to a Vegas wedding? Enjoy!

Wedding Guest Attire

The season of love has begun and weddings are blossoming around us. Here are some adorable little dresses to flaunt at the next nuptial you are attending. Who knows, you could be next!

A side note: I mentioned this last year. Please remember, unless you are the bride, or it is called for in the wedding invitation, refrain from wearing white. Thank you.

Enjoy!

Not feeling like splurging on a new dress? Well, you can always rent one!

I have been looking into Rent the Runway.

The selection of dresses runs the gamut, from Alice+Olivia to Herve Leger to Vena Cava. They recently brought in a selection of accessories, as well. At least this "rent" won't break the bank.

Alice + Olivia rent it for $50, Herve Leger rent it for $150, Vena Cava rent it for $75
