People's Choice and Critic's Choice Awards: Style recap

People's Choice Awards were presented on Wednesday and the Critic's Choice Awards were presented last night. The kickoff to awards season is under way! Even though there were no televised red carpets or 3 hour E! specials, there was fashion none the less.

People's Choice Awards favorites...

Taylor Swift in Ralph Lauren. The blogosphere is calling this her "revenge dress." What better way to say it than looking absolutely stunning in a plunging neckline.

Chloe Moretz Simone Rocha. She is young and adorable. This dress is perfect for her.

Critic's Choice Awards favorites...

 

Anne Hathaway in Oscar de la Renta. Her pixie cut and the simple drape of this gown looks effortless and pretty.

Emily Blunt in Miu Miu. Her hair and makeup are lovely with this ankle length gown but I would have liked a little less of an adorned neck. It would have made the silhouette a little softer.

Jaime King in Jason Wu. She is so pretty. I love the oversized earrings and metallic belt. They are the perfect amount of adornment for this understated but sexy gown.

Jennifer Lawrence in Prabal Gurung. Another dress with metallic belt. It's a very sophisticate look but I wonder about the leather cutout portion. I think it may be better without the leather, just sheer all the way up with maybe some seam details from the shoulder to the back.

Helen Hunt in Philip Armstrong. This color and silhouette are lovely on her. Not many women can wear cap sleeves but Helen wears them with ease.
