What's new Wednesday: My Sister's Nursery

With Mother's Day just around the corner I thought this was the perfect time to share my lovely sister's nursery. She is due this summer with a little girl (and added everything from the Gap DVF collection to her registry) and the room is ready to go. Planning ahead runs in the family.

My sister, or Lala as my little guy calls her, loves Hawaii and the ocean. She is a professional swim coach so this is not surprising. Her husband is a chef so between the two of them this little girl will swim like a dolphin and enjoy the best homemade lunches!

The blue and yellow hues are perfect for her home and lifestyle, with little pops of magenta. She made the adorable ribbon mobile hanging above the crib and the gorgeous chest of drawers was our grandmothers. Our dad refinished it, painted it, had custom mirrors, then put it all together. Amazing if you ask me.
