What's new Wednesday: Back to school

I am not going back to school but I fondly remember back to school shopping. We always stopped at Gap, The Limited, Nordstrom, and Macy's. Loading our arms with pants, skirts, tops, jackets, at one point boxer shorts (it was the early 90's people) and shoes. We would bring home our haul and dive into it piece by piece to choose the best outfit for the first day of school. The first day was the best. Feeling nervous and excited, the day had to start out right with the perfect ensemble. So, if I was going shopping for back to school, as an adult, this is what I would purchase. Enjoy!

What's new Wednesday: An afternoon of Polo

Polo season on the East Coast is well under way and Frolic in Tulle is entranced with the sport and the spirit of Polo. On Saturday, I head to Glen Farm in Newport to watch USA vs. Kenya. It's a thrilling game and with a picnic basket filled with provisions, what more can one ask for on a sunny day?

It is getting warm hear in NYC and the humidity is kicking into gear. Something light, airy and breathable is essential. Dresses are perfect for the sweltering sun rays, that little extra breeze is key (you know what I am talking about ladies).
