I haven't been in school for many, many years but my love of the back to school shopping experience hasn't changed. There was always such excitement in planning the first day of school outfit, it makes me giddy just remembering it.

Nowadays my school is a combination of Mommy and me classes with the Little Guy, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the fresh start of Fall. If I'm excited for school, he will be, too!

Opera style

I have been signing up for the Met Opera Rush Tickets program for about 3 weeks and finally made the waitlist for Saturday evening's performance of Il Trovatore. Webpage loaded at 4:50pm on Wednesday, I waited until the stroke of 5:00pm to login and stake my claim on any unpurchased tickets. I won!

So, now, what to wear? Obviously, dressing up will be necessary.

Apple picking

There is something cozy, familial and happy about apple picking. It's such a simple pleasure, and yet I haven't participated in years. Well, that is all about to change this weekend. We are headed up north to Connecticut to visit a darling apple farm and partake in one of fall's greatest activities, other than fashion week, of course... Enjoy!
