Chanel: Resort 2012

I know, it is a bit of a shock to see 2012 up there, but here in the world of fashion, we live seasons ahead. Chanel's 2012 resort collection, which debuted yesterday in Antibes, is in keeping with the 20's silhouette that designer Karl Lagerfeld has come to love but a new 80's vibe has emerged with a round shoulder jacket, white knee high sandal boots and collar broaches. Enjoy!

Spring trend watch - Painted Dress

I am loving the painted dress trend that is growing around us. I first noticed it in bits and pieces during the resort shows. Then, more and more dresses walked down the Spring runways as if they had sprouted from Monet's gardens or walked out of Georgia O'Keeffe's budding flowers.

This fresh take on florals and abstracts really adds a feminine punch to a Spring season filled with grey tones, military moments and sporty silhouettes.
