Pattern Dress

My darling friend, An, told me she loved this adorable dress from Anthro.

I could not agree more. Pattern dresses are spot on for Spring. I switched my closet from fall/winter to spring/summer last weekend, I may need a few of these to fill in the gaps. It's time to add some color to the wardrobe.

Enjoy!

Spring trend watch - Painted Dress

I am loving the painted dress trend that is growing around us. I first noticed it in bits and pieces during the resort shows. Then, more and more dresses walked down the Spring runways as if they had sprouted from Monet's gardens or walked out of Georgia O'Keeffe's budding flowers.

This fresh take on florals and abstracts really adds a feminine punch to a Spring season filled with grey tones, military moments and sporty silhouettes.

These are sophisticated, fashion forward and lovely. Enjoy!

Rachel Roy /Gustav Klimt "Garden Path with Hens"

Mary Katrantzou / Georgia O'Keeffe "From the Lake I"

Basso and Burke / Andy Warhol "Zebra Print"

Chanel / Collette Callaway "On the way to Grandma's there lives a tree I love"

Erdem / Monet "The Artist's Garden at Giverny"

Vera Wang / Robert Sicotte "Purple rose, heavens gate"
